Headstock designs are the crowning glories of the guitar world and have even been the determining factor for lawsuits in guitar design patent cases. These 16 unique headstock templates are open-sourced and perfect for you to use in any cigar box guitar. They feature a mashup of classic designs and even a couple heavy metal looking ones. All templates come in one set, so you can choose a different one for each build!
Many of us use 1x2x3 planks for our cigar box guitar necks. To keep them simple, the headstock is left plain and squared off with tuner holes drilled in. These tuner hole templates give you perfect alignment for several styles of 3 and 4 string cigar box guitars. In addition, there are string spacing notches at the bottom of each one, helping you get a nice, even spacing when you cut the nut and bridge slots. All seven templates come in one combo. A great resource!
I originally got this hammer to install frets in my cigar box guitars. The internal buckshot gives it a great dead blow feel and the whole piece has a nice, small weight in your hands. However, I soon found myself using it for other things such as installing small brad nails to close cigar boxes. If you need a small, precise hammer, this one is champs.
